There is no more potent symbol of our Scottish heritage than the tartan. In designing The Scots Heritage tartan I wanted a colour which would represent the global nature of The Scots Heritage Society, representing people of Scots descent throughout the world.

Tthere has been a human settlement at Cromarty for at least 8,000 years. Lying at the eastern tip of the Black Isle, between the Moray and Cromarty Firths, the site has always afforded good strategic advantage, a safe natural harbour and abundant marine and wild life.
